"Race of the south" Wladerstown, Athlone.
Confirmed entries for Race of the South Walderstown Athlone Saturday and Sunday 9th & 10th July
include Michael Dunlop, Adrian Archibold, Damian Mulleady, Davy Morgan, John Burrows, Paul Robinson with good line up in Support Class, and 650 Super twins.Ryan Farquhar will not be attending. Roads close on Saturday at 12:30pm and Sunday at 11am.
William Dunlop on form at Skerries road races
William Dunlop outshone his brother Michael by winning four races at the Skerries 100 meeting close to Dublin on Saturday.
The Ballymoney man, who races for the Wilson Craig Honda team, took the chequered flag in the Supertsport, 125cc, 250 and the grand final races.
Dubliner Derek Shiels won the first Open race in front of John Burrows with William Dunlop beating his brother Michael to third place.
Michael was runner-up in the Supersport with Saintfield's Davy Morgan finishing in third.
Wayne Kennedy was second behind William Dunlop in the 125s with Nigel Moore coming home in third.
William Dunlop led the Grand Final race from start to finish lead to beat Michael Dunlop, who set a new lap record, and Davy Morgan was third.
John Burrows completed the Super Twins race finishing first.
